According to police reports, a 33-year-old Richford resident, Ashley Laplante, was arrested on October 27, 2025, for violating her Conditions of Release. The Vermont State Police were alerted to the incident at approximately 10:01 AM on Main Street in Richford.
Upon investigation, authorities determined that Laplante had indeed breached her release conditions. She was taken into custody and subsequently transported to the St. Albans Barracks for processing. Following this, she was held at the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility, where she was assigned a bail of $200.
