According to police reports, a 38-year-old man from Braintree, Paul McPhetres, was arrested on March 31, 2026, on Pleasant Street in Randolph. The Vermont State Police say that McPhetres was identified during a criminal investigation linked to a theft case in the area.
During the investigation, police discovered that McPhetres had outstanding warrants for multiple misdemeanor retail thefts in Windsor and Orange counties.
