Vermont State Police say a 56-year-old Charleston resident was arrested for driving under the influence after reports of erratic driving on Interstate 91 North. The incident occurred on March 31, 2026, when multiple motorists alerted authorities about a vehicle behaving unsafely.

According to police, troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks conducted a traffic stop after observing several violations. Upon further investigation, it was determined that Jaime Delatorrerodriquez was operating the vehicle while impaired. He was subsequently arrested and taken to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing. Following this, Delatorrerodriquez received a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division.
