Vermont State Police say a traffic stop on Route 5 in Lyndon on November 15 led to the arrest of a 33-year-old West Burke resident, Caleb Conley, who is suspected of driving under the influence. Police initiated the stop after observing multiple violations.
According to police, Conley was found to have operated the vehicle while impaired, and a six-year-old child was present in the car at the time. Following the investigation, Conley was taken into custody and brought to the State Police Barracks for processing. He was subsequently released on a citation.
Conley faces several charges, including DUI, driving with a suspended license, reckless endangerment, and cruelty to a child. He is scheduled to appear in Caledonia Court on December 1, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. These charges are allegations, and the legal proceedings will determine their validity. Court dates and charges may change as the case progresses.
