According to police reports, a 26-year-old man from Keene, New Hampshire, was stopped for speeding on Interstate 91 North in Vermont on April 8, 2026. Vermont State Police say they observed the vehicle traveling at 106 mph in a 65 mph zone near mile marker 95.8 during a speed enforcement operation.
The driver, identified as Eden Bennis, was pulled over without incident. Following the stop, he was taken to the Bradford Outpost for processing, where he received a citation. Bennis is charged with excessive speed and is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Orange Criminal Division, on June 1, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., according to the report.
