Vermont State Police say a two-vehicle collision occurred on Sampsonville Road in Enosburgh on October 29, 2025, at approximately 8:35 a.m. The crash involved a BMW driven by 32-year-old Frank Richards and a Subaru operated by 30-year-old Emily Richards, both residents of Montgomery.
According to police, the incident was triggered when westbound traffic slowed due to an agricultural vehicle. Frank Richards failed to stop in time and rear-ended Emily Richards’s vehicle. While both drivers were wearing seat belts and sustained no major injuries, Emily Richards reported minor injuries and was transported to Northwestern Medical Center as a precaution. Two juveniles in the vehicles were also taken to the hospital for precautionary evaluations. The roadway was reduced to one lane while first responders managed the scene and cleared the vehicles.
