Police say they identified a gray Ford F-150 registered in Vermont as a vehicle of interest in both incidents. After a traffic stop, troopers identified the driver as Michael McElroy, 33, of Barre.
McElroy was cited for aggravated operation without owner’s consent, DUI, criminal driving with a suspended license, burglary, and lewd and lascivious behavior, according to police. He is scheduled to appear in Washington County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on May 29 at 12:30 p.m. The charges are allegations, and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
