Vermont State Police say a single-vehicle crash on US Route 2 in Alburgh early on April 30 led to moderate injuries for the 19-year-old driver, Robert Sawyer, from St. Albans. The accident occurred around 5:55 a.m. when Sawyer’s Hyundai Accent veered across the northbound lane and left the roadway, striking a utility pole before ultimately coming to rest against a tree.
According to police reports, emergency responders from Alburgh Fire and Alburgh Rescue were dispatched to the scene to assist.
