Vermont State Police say a two-car collision occurred on April 11, 2026, at approximately 2:36 PM on VT Route 105 in Sheldon. The accident involved vehicles operated by 22-year-old Zoe Raymond and 49-year-old Brenda Jewett, both residents of Enosburgh.
According to police reports, both vehicles were traveling westbound when Jewett attempted to turn around using a driveway located on the opposite side of the road. As she maneuvered, her vehicle was struck by Raymond’s car in the eastbound lane. Fortunately, Raymond’s vehicle sustained only minor damage and was towed from the scene, while Jewett’s vehicle was able to be driven away. Jewett suffered minor injuries and was transported to Northwestern Medical Center for evaluation. No injuries were reported for Raymond or her passenger, 54-year-old Christopher Cross.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing. Charges have not been filed at this time, and further legal proceedings may take place as the situation develops.
