The accident involved a 2017 Ford F-150 driven by 61-year-old Rolando Jimenez of San Antonio, Texas, and a 2014 Subaru Forester operated by 44-year-old Amanda Brinkman from Vergennes, Vermont.

According to police reports, Brinkman was traveling south on US Route 7 and initiated a right turn into Addison County Alignment & Repair. Simultaneously, Jimenez, who was following behind, left the roadway and struck Brinkman’s vehicle. Both vehicles came to a stop on the southbound shoulder of the highway, and there were no reported injuries. The New Haven Fire Department and Bristol Rescue Squad assisted at the scene.
