According to police reports, two men were arrested on March 27, 2026, in connection with armed robberies at the Jolley by Stewart’s Shops convenience store located on Main Street in Enosburgh. The incidents occurred on March 23 and March 25, when masked individuals reportedly threatened store clerks with weapons and demanded cash.

Police say Mark Clapper, 28, and Tobby Marrier, 33, both residents of Enosburgh, are charged with offenses related to the robberies. Following the execution of court-ordered search warrants at two separate addresses in Enosburgh, the suspects were taken into custody. Clapper faces charges stemming from both robberies, while Marrier is charged in connection with the second robbery.

Both individuals are currently held without bail at the Northwest State Correctional Facility in St. Albans. Their arraignment is scheduled for 1 p.m. on March 30, 2026, in the Criminal Division of Vermont Superior Court in St. Albans.
