According to police reports, Nathan Silva, a 35-year-old resident of Bennington, was arrested on May 5, 2026, at approximately 11:16 PM on Rod and Gun Club Road in Shaftsbury. Vermont State Police were informed that Silva was at the location and had an outstanding arrest warrant.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with Silva and took him into custody without incident. He was subsequently lodged at the Marble Valley Correctional Facility in Rutland, where he is being held on a $2,000 bail. Silva has been issued a citation to appear in Bennington County Criminal Court on May 6, 2026, at 12:30 PM.
