According to police reports, Vermont State Police are investigating a runaway juvenile case involving a 15-year-old girl from Burke. The incident occurred on May 9, 2026, around 5:55 PM on US Route 5. Authorities were alerted that Olivia Champagne had left her home without permission.

Further investigation revealed that Champagne was picked up by an unidentified individual and taken to Danville, Vermont. At the time of her disappearance, she was reportedly wearing a white hoodie, grey leggings, cranberry-colored sneakers, and carrying a bright orange pocketbook. A photo of Champagne has been released in hopes of gathering more information.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen Champagne or has information about her whereabouts to contact the St. Johnsbury Barracks at 802-748-3111. This case remains ongoing, and the police are working to ensure her safe return. Charges related to the incident may be considered as the investigation progresses.
