Vermont State Police say a 35-year-old man from Hartford was arrested on March 22 in Royalton for providing false identification and having two outstanding warrants. Authorities responded to reports of individuals on Moses Lane and encountered Shawn Holt, who initially identified himself incorrectly.

According to police, Holt was found to have two active in-state arrest warrants related to previous failures to appear in court. The charges included failure to appear for possession of stolen property and for operating a vehicle with a suspended license. Each warrant carried a bail amount of $500, totaling $1,000.
