According to police reports, a 31-year-old man from Pownal, Benjamin Farrington, was arrested early on March 1, 2026, following a reported domestic dispute on Lincoln Street. Vermont State Police say they were dispatched to the scene around 2:57 AM and subsequently took Farrington into custody.

He faces charges of unlawful restraint in the second degree and domestic assault, according to the report.
