According to police reports, Barrett Weiss, 33, of Pittsford, New York, was traveling northbound when he lost control of his 2023 Tesla Model 3 due to hydroplaning. He subsequently crossed into the southbound lane and collided with a 2023 Ford truck operated by Mary O’Connor, 47, from Londonderry, New York. Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the incident, and they were transported to Southwestern Vermont Medical Center for treatment of suspected minor injuries. The vehicles sustained significant damage and were declared totaled. Emergency responders from the Shaftsbury Fire Department, Arlington Rescue, and Bennington Rescue assisted at the scene.
