Vermont State Police say a 50-year-old man was arrested for aggravated domestic assault following an incident in Franklin on March 3, 2026. Officers responded to a report of an assault at 2076 Stanley Road around 8:33 PM, where they determined that Sean Murphy allegedly assaulted a household member.

According to police, Murphy was taken into custody and transported to the St. Albans Barracks for processing. Afterward, he was lodged at the Northwestern Correctional Facility.
