Vermont State Police say a 65-year-old man from Saint Johnsbury was arrested for driving under the influence on November 8, 2025. The incident occurred on US Route 2 in Danville when troopers noticed his vehicle was operating without headlights.

According to the report, while conducting a routine patrol, officers stopped the truck driven by William Aldrich. During their interaction with him, they observed signs of impairment and subsequently arrested Aldrich on suspicion of DUI.
