Vermont State Police say a traffic stop on Interstate 89 in Colchester on November 12, 2025, led to the arrest of a 41-year-old man from Highgate. Troopers observed a vehicle committing a motor vehicle violation and initiated a stop near mile marker 93.8.
During the stop, police identified the passenger as Eric Smith, who was found to have an active arrest warrant.
