According to police reports, two Brattleboro residents were arrested on April 20, 2026, following a drug investigation at a residence on Reynolds Drive. The Vermont State Police Drug Task Force collaborated with the Brattleboro Police Department to execute a search warrant at the location, which was linked to the distribution of cocaine.

Courtney Stone, 38, faces multiple charges, including the sale of cocaine, two counts of conspiracy, and knowingly allowing the sale of regulated drugs in a dwelling. Police say she is being held on $25,000 bail. Alexis Montoya, 31, was also arrested and charged with the sale of cocaine, with bail set at $5,000.
