According to police reports, a single-vehicle crash occurred on November 9, 2025, around 10:12 PM on Bolton Valley Access Road in Bolton. Vermont State Police say Celia Savoie, a 38-year-old resident of Bolton, was driving a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek when she failed to navigate a turn, resulting in her vehicle veering off the southbound shoulder and into a gully.

The crash caused significant damage to Savoie’s vehicle, which was declared totaled. She sustained injuries and was subsequently transported to the University of Vermont Medical Center for treatment. During the investigation, police suspected that Savoie was under the influence of alcohol, leading to her being charged with DUI—third offense—and criminal refusal.

Savoie has been issued a citation that requires her to appear in Chittenden County Superior Court on December 18, 2025, at 8:30 AM. According to the report, the charges are allegations, and the court date is subject to change. Individuals involved are encouraged to confirm the time with the court clerk as the case progresses.
