CAMBRIDGE, Vt. — Vermont State Police have cited Ryan Longe-Judkins, 31, of Waterville, for DUI after a two-vehicle head-on crash on Vermont Route 108 South in Cambridge on June 9, police say.
Troopers say Longe-Judkins’s Toyota Corolla crossed into oncoming traffic at about 8:30 p.m. and struck a Volkswagen Golf R driven by a 47-year-old Stowe woman. Both vehicles were significantly damaged, but no one was injured and both drivers were wearing seat belts.
Troopers reported signs of impairment and processed Longe-Judkins at the Morristown Police Department before releasing him with a citation. He is scheduled to appear in Lamoille County Superior Court on June 24 at 12:30 p.m. The charge is an allegation, and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Cambridge Rescue and the Cambridge Fire Department assisted at the scene.
