According to police reports, a single-vehicle accident occurred on March 13, 2026, at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Vermont Route 30 in Poultney. The collision involved a 2023 Chevrolet Equinox operated by 31-year-old Tamara Gibbs, a local resident.
Police say Gibbs was traveling north when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to veer off the right side of the roadway. The Equinox subsequently collided with a tree. Fortunately, Gibbs did not sustain any injuries from the incident, and no other vehicles were involved. The Poultney Fire Department and Poultney Rescue assisted at the scene.
