Vermont State Police say a routine patrol in Wells River early Sunday morning led to the arrest of a 46-year-old man from Bath, New Hampshire, on suspicion of driving under the influence.
According to police reports, troopers observed a traffic violation at the intersection of US Route 302 and US Route 5 around 12:11 AM on February 28, 2026. Upon stopping the vehicle operated by Daniel Currier, officers detected signs of impairment. Currier was subsequently arrested and taken to the Bradford outpost for processing. He was issued a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court – Criminal Division.
