Clarendon woman arrested for driving with suspended license, police say
Vermont State Police say a traffic stop on November 8, 2025, in Clarendon led to the arrest of a 32-year-old woman from Wallingford, Vermont, for operating a vehicle with a criminally suspended license.
According to the report, Troopers from the Rutland Barracks initiated the stop after observing a traffic violation. During the investigation, they discovered that Samantha J. Emrick was driving with a suspended license and had an active warrant for her arrest due to a failure to appear in court, which required a $100 bail. Following her arrest, Emrick was taken to the Rutland Barracks for processing before being transported to the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility.
Emrick is scheduled to appear in the Vermont Superior Court, Rutland Criminal Division on two separate court dates: November 10, 2025, at 12:30 PM for the warrant, and December 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM for the charge of Criminal DLS.
