According to police reports, a 35-year-old man from Woodsville, New Hampshire, was arrested late Monday night in Wells River, Vermont, on suspicion of driving under the influence. Vermont State Police say that the incident occurred around 10:51 PM on April 24, 2026, when troopers on routine patrol observed a motor vehicle violation.

After stopping the vehicle operated by Gage Corkins, officers detected signs of impairment during their interaction with him. Following this, Corkins was taken into custody and transported to the Bradford outpost for processing. He has been charged with DUI and was later issued a citation to appear in court.
