Vermont State Police say a 45-year-old Bethel resident has been charged with aggravated assault following an incident that occurred on April 1, 2026. According to police reports, authorities responded to a 911 call from a home on Sand Hill Road around 7:31 p.m., where they found 58-year-old Keith Hodgdon with injuries. He was transported to Gifford Medical Center for treatment.

Police say investigation revealed that Tommy Warren allegedly assaulted Hodgdon with a weapon before fleeing the scene. Warren was later apprehended and taken to the Royalton Barracks for processing. Following this, his custody was transferred to Parole and Probation due to previous probation violations.

Warren has been issued a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on April 21, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. The charges against him are allegations at this stage, and court dates or charges may change as the case proceeds.
