According to police reports, Lisa Towne, 36, of Rutland, was operating a 2021 Honda Pilot in the passing lane when she struck a 2018 Ford F-150 driven by Todd Smith, 52, of Clarendon. Following the impact, Towne’s vehicle overturned and came to a stop off the west side of the roadway. Both drivers were wearing seat belts and reported no injuries, with no hospital visits required. Significant damage was reported to Towne’s vehicle, while Smith’s truck sustained minor damage. Emergency responders from the Clarendon Fire Department and Carrara’s Towing assisted at the scene.
