According to police reports, a routine patrol by Vermont State Police in Wells River on December 13 led to the arrests of two individuals wanted on multiple warrants. Troopers discovered a suspicious vehicle and identified the occupants as Cheryl Kozuch, 54, of Woodsville, NH, and Kyle Cabey, 37, of Concord, NH.

Kozuch was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine exceeding 25 grams, along with possession of narcotics. She was also wanted on two separate in-state warrants related to previous charges, including possession of methamphetamine and cocaine, as well as obstruction of justice and DUI drugs. Cabey was charged as a fugitive from justice with an extraditable warrant from New Hampshire for possession of clonazepam, in addition to possession of narcotics.

Both suspects were lodged at the Northeast Regional Correctional Complex on bail—Kozuch at $4,000 and Cabey at $5,000. Court appearances are scheduled for December 15 for both individuals, with an additional date for Cabey on February 4, 2026, in Orange and Caledonia courts. Charges are allegations at this stage, and court dates may change as the cases progress.
