Vermont State Police say a Wardsboro resident was arrested for violating a Relief from Abuse Order on January 24, 2026. Michael J. Yeachshein, 57, was taken into custody shortly after police were notified of the violation, which occurred around 3:34 PM on Robinson Lane.
According to police, the order had been served just over an hour before the incident. Following an investigation, Yeachshein was charged with a violation of Title 13 V.S.A. 1030, pertaining to abuse prevention. He is set to appear in Vermont Superior Court in Windham County on January 26, 2026, at 12:30 PM to respond to the allegations.
