Vermont State Police say the incident happened at approximately 5:13 a.m. when an unidentified driver in a 2010 Subaru Forester collided head-on with a 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage operated by 46-year-old Andrew White of Royalton.

The crash resulted in both vehicles being totaled, and White was transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center due to suspected serious injuries. The driver of the Subaru fled the scene and remains unidentified, according to police.
