Vermont State Police say a two-vehicle accident occurred on February 11 at approximately 8:33 a.m. near the intersection of VT Route 30 and Cider Mill Road in Cornwall. One vehicle involved in the incident reportedly fled the scene after the crash.

According to police reports, a flatbed wrecker, identified as vehicle one, was traveling northbound when it lost control and collided with the driver’s side of a Subaru Legacy operated by 37-year-old Samantha Lafave of Sudbury. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and Lafave was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident. The extent of damage to the vehicles remains unclear, and the operator of the flatbed wrecker has not been identified.
