According to police reports, a search warrant executed by the Vermont State Police and other law enforcement agencies at 739 Sand Hill Rd. in Bethel led to multiple arrests on January 21, 2026. The operation, conducted around 8:15 p.m., was part of an ongoing investigation into suspected drug activity at the location.

During the search, authorities seized approximately 370.3 grams of cocaine and 45.93 grams of fentanyl, alongside seven firearms and about $9,500 in cash. Several individuals were detained, including Dayquan Smith, 34, from Hartford, Connecticut, who was charged with fentanyl and cocaine trafficking, firearm possession during a felony, and manufacturing. He is being held at the Southern State Correctional Facility with a court appearance scheduled for January 22 at 12:30 p.m.

Other suspects included Eleni Howe, 32, from Sharon, charged with active warrants for petit larceny and providing false information, and Angel Blanchard, 32, from Hartford, facing multiple warrants related to heroin and fentanyl possession. Additional individuals were also arrested on various outstanding warrants.
