Vermont State Police say a single-vehicle crash on Route 14 in Royalton occurred on January 9, 2026, around 9:31 PM. The incident involved a 39-year-old driver, Benazir Iderbei, who was found at the scene and suspected of driving under the influence.
According to police reports, Iderbei’s vehicle, a 2016 Kia Sorento, sustained significant damage during the crash. While the extent of injuries remains unknown, Iderbei was transported to a hospital for evaluation. Officers determined that she was impaired and subsequently placed her under arrest for DUI.
