Vermont State Police say a traffic stop on Interstate 91 in Putney led to the arrest of a 25-year-old man from the Bronx, New York, on February 18, 2026. Police encountered a disabled vehicle around mile marker 22.8 while on routine patrol and identified Amadou Nantoume as the driver.
