Proctor woman arrested for unlawful trespass, police say

In Proctor, Vermont, police say Aaliyah Medina, 22, was arrested for unlawful trespass and violation of conditions of release while under the influence of alcohol.

Vermont State Police say a 22-year-old woman from Brandon was arrested for unlawful trespass and violating conditions of release during an incident in Proctor. The arrest occurred on January 11, 2026, at approximately 9:53 PM, after police responded to reports of a burglary in progress on Willow Street.

According to police, Aaliyah Medina was found inside the residence and taken into custody without resistance. At the time of her arrest, she was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, which violated her existing court-ordered conditions prohibiting alcohol consumption. Following her arrest, Medina was transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing and subsequently held at Marble Valley Correctional Facility with a bail set at $500.

Medina is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Rutland Criminal Division, on January 12, 2026, at 12:30 PM. Charges against her remain allegations, and court dates and details may be subject to change as the legal process continues.
