Vermont State Police say a traffic stop in Mount Holly on December 23, 2025, resulted in the arrest of 46-year-old Nicholas Turco, who allegedly fled from law enforcement earlier that morning. According to police reports, Troopers from the Rutland Barracks initiated the stop around 9:22 AM after Turco was found driving with a criminally suspended license. Following his arrest, Turco was taken to the Rutland Barracks for processing and issued citations for charges including eluding a police officer, resisting arrest, and multiple violations related to his release conditions.

Turco was transported to the Vermont Superior Court in Rutland for his in-state warrant.
