According to police reports, a 31-year-old man from Marshfield was cited for excessive speed after a traffic stop on US Route 2 in Danville on December 3. Vermont State Police say they observed Gabriel Riley driving at 92 mph in a 55 mph zone around 5:54 PM, near the intersection with Jamieson Road.

Police initiated a stop and subsequently took Riley into custody. He was transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing and later released with a citation. Riley is scheduled to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court’s Criminal Division on January 12, 2026, at 8:30 AM.
