According to police reports, a 36-year-old Johnson resident was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on February 13, 2026, at approximately 11:06 PM. Vermont State Police conducted stationary radar enforcement on Route 15 near Moose Alley when they observed a vehicle exceeding the speed limit, traveling at 68 mph in a 50 mph zone.

The driver, identified as Aaron M. Preston, displayed signs of impairment during the interaction with troopers. After further evaluation, he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and subsequently transported to the Morristown Police Department for processing. Preston was released with a citation to appear in Lamoille County Superior Court.
