According to police reports, a single-vehicle rollover occurred at the intersection of Vermont Route 14 and Vermont Route 58 in Irasburg on December 25, 2025. Vermont State Police say the incident took place around 3:34 PM when the driver, identified as 44-year-old Douglas Aulis of Jay, failed to stop before entering the intersection, leading to the vehicle rolling over an embankment.
Although Aulis sustained no injuries, authorities noted signs of impairment. Following the crash, he was transported to the Derby barracks for processing. He has been charged with DUI #3 and was issued a citation to appear in Orleans Criminal Court on December 26, 2025, at 12:30 PM.
