Vermont State Police say a 33-year-old man from Huntington was arrested early on January 1, 2026, following a single-vehicle crash on Main Road. Authorities responded to the scene at approximately 5:21 AM and identified the driver as Brandan Bates.
According to police, while speaking with Bates, officers detected signs of impairment. Subsequent investigations led to Bates being charged with driving under the influence. He was taken to the Williston Barracks for processing and later released after being issued a citation.
