Vermont State Police say a single-vehicle crash in Dummerston on February 17, 2026, led to the arrest of a 41-year-old Wardsboro resident, Anthony D. Horne, who is suspected of driving under the influence. The incident occurred around 9:53 PM at the intersection of East West Road and Black Mountain Road.

According to police reports, Troopers from the Westminster barracks responded to the crash and identified Horne as the driver. Investigators determined that he was operating the vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants.
