Vermont State Police say a traffic stop in Concord led to the arrest of 43-year-old Timothy Briggs early on December 20, 2025. Officers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks were patrolling Prospect Street when they confirmed Briggs had an outstanding warrant.
According to police reports, Briggs was located at his residence and identified. He faces several charges, including DUI #2 – Drug, cruelty to a child, and two counts of violating conditions of release. Following his arrest, Briggs was transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing. He is currently being held at the Northeast Correctional Complex on a $400 bail related to the warrant.
