According to police reports, a traffic incident on Vermont Route 14 in Calais occurred on February 15, 2026, leading to the arrest of a 55-year-old woman suspected of driving under the influence. Jennifer Foley, a resident of South Burlington, was involved in a slide-off crash at approximately 8:51 PM.

Police say that upon arrival, officers determined Foley was operating her 2025 Nissan Sentra while impaired. Following the investigation, she was taken into custody and transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing. Foley was subsequently released with a citation to appear in court.

She is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court’s Washington Criminal Division on March 5, 2026, at 8:30 AM, according to the report.
