According to police reports, a traffic stop on Putney Road in Brattleboro on March 5, 2026, resulted in the arrest of 29-year-old Nathaniel Murano from Wilmington. Vermont State Police say the stop was initiated due to a motor vehicle violation, during which officers discovered Murano had violated his conditions of release and was operating a vehicle with a criminally suspended license.

Murano was taken into custody and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing. Following the arrest, he received a criminal citation to appear in court.
