Vermont State Police say a 32-year-old woman was arrested on December 17, 2025, in Bethel while officers were assisting Probation and Parole. Eleni E. Howe, who is currently homeless, was found with outstanding warrants for her arrest.
According to police, one warrant was for misdemeanor charges of providing false information to law enforcement from Orange County, while the second was for misdemeanor petit larceny from Windsor County. Howe was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Royalton Barracks for processing before being lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility.
Howe is scheduled to appear in court on December 18, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. at the Windsor Court in Woodstock. She has been lodged with a total bail set at $200. It is important to note that these charges are merely allegations, and court dates and charges may change as the case progresses.
