Vermont State Police say they are investigating a 24-year-old Barton resident, Bryce King, for embezzlement. The inquiry began on November 18, 2025, after employees at the Circle K gas station on Main Street reported discrepancies in the store’s finances.
According to police, the investigation revealed that King allegedly stole approximately $5,000 over a three-month period while employed at the gas station.
