According to police reports, a 32-year-old woman from Whitingham, Jazlyn Carlson, was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic incident on Hatch School Road in Halifax. The arrest occurred on November 30, 2025, around 10:49 PM when troopers from the Westminster Barracks responded to a report of a vehicle that had slid off the road.
Upon arrival, police say they observed signs of impairment in Carlson. Following a roadside investigation, she was taken into custody and transported to the Wilmington Police Department for processing. It was noted that Carlson’s vehicle did not sustain any damage during the incident. She was subsequently released with a citation.
Carlson is scheduled to appear in the Vermont Superior Court – Windham County, Criminal Division on December 16, 2025, at 8:30 AM to face the DUI charge. According to the report, all charges are allegations at this stage, and court dates may change as proceedings continue.
