According to police reports, a rollover crash involving a 16-year-old driver occurred on Lincoln Hill Road in Hinesburg, Vermont, on November 30 at approximately 12:27 PM. Vermont State Police say the juvenile was driving a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee when the vehicle overturned and landed in a ditch.
Upon their arrival, officers found the Jeep on its roof with the driver still inside. Emergency personnel were able to safely extract the juvenile, who was evaluated at the scene and reported no injuries. Police say there were no signs of impairment, and the driver was later released to a parent. The vehicle sustained significant damage and was deemed totaled.
The incident prompted assistance from both the Hinesburg Fire Department and Richmond Rescue. As the investigation continues, no charges have been filed at this time.
