According to police reports, a serious motor vehicle crash occurred on Long Hill Road in Concord, Vermont, on November 29 at approximately 7:03 PM. Responding Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks discovered a Toyota Tundra on its side, driven by 67-year-old Kenneth Yattaw, a Concord resident.
While speaking with Yattaw, officers noted signs of impairment. He was first taken to Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital and later transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for further treatment. The crash is still under investigation, and police believe that alcohol impairment may have contributed to the incident.
Yattaw has been charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. As the investigation continues, the status of the case remains pending. Court proceedings are set to take place at the Essex County Superior Court – Criminal Division, but specific dates and times have yet to be determined.
